For example, I'm a very laid back person, I'm not career-money oriented, though I do care to a degree, I dress in a very trendy-hollywoood way, since I have the money to shop for nice things and technically, I'm pretty well off so I don't really have to do anything too hard to make a living.
I'm a 25 year old male, and I go out to places and even to malls at mostly upper-end stores, and I come into contact with many people who work there and others who shop are pretty much 24/7 workaholics. I walk in in my, sunglasses, laid back clothes, very west-coast-ish, and generally get looked at like, "What the f*ck are you doing?" Someone even made a comment "omg, don't tell me he went to work like that?"
Why at certain ages do people EXPECT you to do what everyone else does. What if you don't have to? I realize I'm one of the VERY few like this ( and I do work, just not a 24/7 career). It's like if you don't act grown up, wear work clothes and act mature at a certain age, it's not good
Now mind you, you see 10000000 housewives and women shopping all the time, wearing the most oudlandish outfits, and no one says a thing to them. Godforbid I do the same thing, as a male, I get the most strange looks, or laughs from other people, but mostly American types and workers, not really younger kids or Asians, or other people from different cultures. They aren't as mean.
Why do men have such a strict standard to live up to? It's like I'm sorry guys, but just because men are expected to be "breadwinners, workaholics, serious, dress professionally and what not blah blah blah," doesn't mean that we have to.
We only have ONE life, and I don't give a F*CK what anyone else thinks, because I want to enjoy this life.
And if that means walking around in Ed Hardy, Gucci, wearing wide bug tom ford glasses, and having FUN, shopping and laughing and living it up,
thats that.
Question is, WHYYY do other people have a problem when they see a GUY living it up as opposed to a Grl
They look at me like "WHat is HE doing?"
What I'm doing is, kind of mocking norms of society, walking around looking a bit ridiculous, having the money to do it, and generally pissing off the people who hate types like me.
It's fun! I even have sometimes people in traffic, who get this, just by looking at me through their rearview mirror, switch lanes because they can't stand me. Thats usually when i have my bug glasses on and bop my h ead up and down to music, and I do have bleached blonde hair.
TO them its like "ugh another idiot." But they dont realize I'm just having fun and not giving a shit.
WHy are people so judgemental?
ITs like they just are looking for something to hate.
Do we all have to be Barrack Obamas or Bill Gates' to be respected?
F*CK respect. Why can't people loosen the hell up and leave me alone. I just want to have fun and not care.
WHy are Americans so hateful?
Just don't listen to people, nothing ever good comes from listening to what people expect from you. believe me it can all go down the drain.
